Live For Him.
Works of the flesh versus Fruit of the Spirit. Galatians 5:19-23
Choice must be made. Galatians 5:16-17
Crucified flesh.
Passion – “of an inward state, an affection, passion: Gal 5:24; that lead to sins, Rom 7:5.” (Thayer)
Lusts – “desire, craving, longing: for what is forbidden” cf. Romans 1:24 (Thayer)
New life. Colossians 3:1-5; Ephesians 4:20-24
Lights shine. Matthew 5:13-16; cf. Philippians 2:14-15

3. “They That Are Christ’s”
Are In His Church.
Saved added to the church. Acts 2:47
Church is His body. Ephesians 1:22-23
Christ is the savior of the body. Ephesians 5:23
No saved outside the body, the church.
Church is the family of God. 1 Timothy 3:14- 15
No children outside the family, the church.
Church purchased with blood. Acts 20:28
Not in the church, not purchased. 1 Corinthians 6:20; 1 Peter 1:18

Wear His Name.
Called “Christians.” Acts 11:26; 26:28; 1 Peter 4:16
Married to Him. Romans 7:4
Children in His family. 1 Timothy 3:14-15; Hebrews 3:6

Have Been Baptized Into Him. Galatians 3:26- 27
WHAT? “Sons of God.”
WHERE? “In Christ Jesus.”
HOW? “Through faith”
WHY? “For as many of you as were baptized INTO CHRIST …”

Are Abraham’s Seed & Heirs According To Promise. Galatians 3:29
Not according to physical descent. Romans 2:28-29; Philippians 3:3; Galatians 6:16
Promise of redemption. Gen. 12:1-3; 22:18
