Harriet the Spy- teaches children to lie, spy, talk back, and curse
Harry Potter books- promotes witchcraft, sets bad examples and are too dark
A Light in the Attic- an illustration that may encourage children to break dishes
To Kill a Mockingbird- profanity and racial slurs
Lord of the Flies- profanity, sexuality, racial slurs and excessive violence
