2. Introduction
Hi, my name is Destiny (a.k.a. Dest) and I will be telling you a few things about myself!

3. Early childhood and family
I was born on January 10, 2002 at St. John Macomb Hospital.
I have 2 younger brothers named Mark- Anthony (7) and Tray (6).
The first sport I played was T-Ball at Boys and Girls Club of Southeastern Michigan.
I’ve been performing since I was around 7.
The first talent show I performed in was at Boys and Girls Club. I did break dancing.
I was in girl scouts in elementary school.

4. Double digits
I performed in my 2nd talent show in the 4th grade at Robbie Hall Parker Elementary with my dance team.
My uncle coach boxing at Adam Butzel Recreational Center so I took boxing there when I was around 9 to 11 years old.
I performed at my 3rd talent show in the 5th grade at Robbie Hall Parker Elementary with my best friend.
I took Karate when I was 12 to 13 years old with my brother, Mark-Anthony, I left with a 3rd degree green belt and my brother left with a 2nd degree yellow belt. In the style that I took, the belt colors go from white , yellow, green, red, to black.
I was on the cheer team in the 6th grade at Great Oaks Academy.
I performed in my 4th talent show in the 7th grade at Great Oaks Academy.

5. The Life of a dancer
My first ever dance team I’ve been on was in the 4th grade at Robbie Hall Parker Elementary School.
Now I dance at Fem Fatale Dance Studio. I’ve been dancing there for almost 3 years. I started off doing hip hop and now I dance in hip hop, lyrical, jazz, ballet, salsa, and tap.
I performed a lot with my dance team.
My first dance competition was a regional dance competition in Ohio in April of 2015.
I have an upcoming dance competition in February that I will be dancing in.
Both sides of my family can dance but I believe my dad is the real dancer. I found this out over summer break when I went to go see him in Georgia. He can Detroit Jit, Tick, etc. My mom can also Detroit Jit.
My hip hop dance teacher is Queen Gabby (Queen of Jit) she danced in Big Sean and Dej Loaf music video, Back Up, she also taught me a little bit of Jit moves.
