Global Financial support to statistical development
Trends up to 2016 Global Financial support to statistical development 3 data sources: Projects reported directly by donors Projects from DAC database whose main purpose is “Statistical Capacity Development” Projects from DAC database whose purposes include “Statistical Capacity Development”. Only projects from the 3rd source need a deeper look at the budget allocated to statistical activities. We use historical data with budget allocation information to estimate this number. Thus the third source is always an estimation. It accounts for only 10%-15% of the total number. From next year, the DAC will ask reporters to provide detailed budget information. We will be able to improve the accuracy. Source: Partner Report on Support to Statistics 2018
