Creating a graph on Excel

Identify the data you need to graph.

Open a blank workbook in Excel on your computer.

Add the headers from the table.
City names The information that will be shown

Enter the data (this is not the real data).
Tip: Do not include any letters in the data cells. The program deals with numbers and will not know what you mean if you include letters.

Highlight the block of cells that you have entered data into.

Click Insert, then select the type graph you require.

The graph will be created on this page.

Select the graph and copy it. Paste it into a new Word document.

You’re done!
