2 Types of Insurance Health Insurance -Fee-for-Service Plans, Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs), Point-of-Service Plans (POS), Preferred Provider Organizations (PPOs). These four different types of insurance may have different names however their goal is to provide medical care to people. Fee-for-service plan is the more affordable plan. However it has got some limitations. Preferred Provider Organization has got more options; however, this is the most expensive. Its your choice whether to decide which type of insurance is the best and which one you would like to purchase. Life Insurance -At its most basic level is a contract between you and a company to pay a sum of money to your beneficiaries in the event of your death, to cover expenses and make up for the lack of your income. Premiums are based on the type of insurance you buy, the benefit amount, and your chances of dying based on your overall health and lifestyle, during the period when the policy is in effect. Auto Insurance- An insurance that is responsible for protecting your vehicle and you is called auto insurance, also referred to as car insurance. If you undergo an accident, this insurance will guard you from economic loss. A contract will be signed between you and the insurance company. Here, you will agree to pay the premium as specified by the insurance, while the company agrees to account for your financial losses as per guidelines in the policy.
