This webinar will be recorded! Creating Interactive Assignments in BCPS One Date: Instructor: Welcome! The workshop will begin soon. Please take some time right now to configure your speakers and mic. Click the Talk button to activate your mic. Notice a mic will appear on the button when active. Click the microphone icon at the top of the Audio & Video window to enter the Setup Wizard and configure your speakers and microphone.

Student Groups Customized instruction- We use the term “customized learning” to refer to a sequence of multimodal learning experiences that are informed by student data, which is applied to boost motivation and achievement. ie. teacher adjusted instruction based upon data In order to provide customized access to digital content the teacher must create student groups.

Discussions The discussion feature allows you to pose a question or topic for students to respond to. Students can respond with text, images, videos, and links. You can moderate discussion posts if necessary. Remember, discussions can be given to customized small groups.

Turn-Ins Allows students to turn in an assignment digitally.
Students can submit text, Powerpoints, images, video, links, etc. Also allows you to provide feedback, grade, and return their assignment in BCPS One. Remember turn-ins can be created for customized small groups.

Turn-Ins Once you assign a score, the student will no longer be able to submit any additional items for that turn-in, even if the turn-in has not been closed. However, if you assign an M to denote a missing assignment, the student will still be able to provide a submission. Parents can view and respond to comments made on turn-in assignments.
