The Land of Capacity There once was a king who lived in the land of capacity. He was a giant king, so all the townspeople called him King G. Now, let me tell you, he was a playa! He had not one, not two, not three, but four queens who lived with him in the land of capacity. With those four queens, he had a prince and princess a piece. A prince and princess with the first queen, a prince and princess with the second queen, a prince and princess with the third queen, and a prince and princess with the fourth queen. And, all those eight princes and princesses had two crowns. One crown was special and was only worn to the ball. The other was the one they wore to less fancy occasion like the mall. One for the ball and one for the mall. (Four times) Now, each of those crowns had 8 of the precious stone opal on them.

Work With Me If Jordan has 6 gallons of water, how many pints does she have? LSM 6x8= 48 pints
14
You Try & Check with Your Partner
1.) Convert 54 quarts to pints. 2.) Convert 10 gallons to quarts. LSM 54x2=108 pints 10x4=40 quarts Explain the conversion rule that you used to find the amount of feet.

Work With Me Mrs. Dawn made 8 quarts of soup on Monday, 5 quarts of soup on Tuesday, and 5 quarts of soup on Wednesday. If she serves each guest 1 cup of soup, how many guests can she serve in all? LSM 8+5+5=18 quarts 18x2=36 cups= 36 guests
16
You Try & Check with Your Partner
1.) Convert 48 fluid ounces to cups. 2.) Convert 32 fluid ounces to pints. LSM 48/8=6 cups 32/8=4 cups/2=2 pints Explain the conversion rule that you used to find the amount of feet.
