Medicare Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS)
Beginning January 1, 2013, any eligible provider not participating in the PQRS program will receive a 1.5% reduction in Medicare payments beginning in 2015 Enrollment in the Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program incentive qualifies physicians for an additional .5% incentive payment Medicare Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS)

Medicare E-Prescribing (eRx) Program – Adjustments
For % payment adjustments apply to any EP or group who did not participate in the E-Prescribing program in 2011 To avoid the 2014 eRx payment adjustment, individual EPs must have either: Been a successful electronic prescriber in 2012 Reported the G8553 code via claims for at least ten billable MPFSDB services provided from January 1 through June 30, 2013 Medicare E-Prescribing (eRx) Program – Incentives The 2013 incentive payment is .5%. This is the last year of incentives for this program! Successful electronic prescribers who also have at least 10% of their MPFSDB charges comprised of the codes in the denominator of the measure for the reporting period (January 1 through December 31, 2013) will be considered incentive eligible
