Today, we are seeing more demand for solutions that convert existing fluorescent to LED -- from simple replacement to sophisticated. Universal’s innovative and expanding EVERLINE LED Retrofit line now includes:

4. LED Linear Retrofit Continuum
The PRK solution sits at the high end of our Good-Better-Best Continuum of retrofit options for lighting upgrades.
Existing retrofit offerings replace only the light engine and do not address outdated optics such as parabolics. The PRK upgrades the light distribution as well as the light engine (but is not a replacement fixture).

9. Installation
Ease of installation is easier than the LRK, not as simple as tube replacement:
STEP 1
Disconnect power
Remove all fluorescent components (lens, lamps, sockets, ballasts) and dispose
STEP 3
Slide LED panel between grid and troffer and fasten to the end caps using quarter turn screws (provided)
Use provided quick disconnect to make electrical connections (line to black, neutral to white, earth ground to green)
STEP 4
Insert blank panel between grid and troffer and fasten to end caps using quarter turn screws (provided)
STEP 5
Insert acrylic lens material into track
Apply power
STEP 2
Insert end caps at each end between ceiling grid and troffer

11. 5-Day Production Planning
Expect a fast 5-day lead time for shipping fixtures
5 Days - means from order entry to shipment of fixture.
There are no initial plans for stocking finished fixtures
Future stocking may be a possibility based on sales patterns.
Universal is stocking raw material to support production
Stocking the raw materials provides flexibility to produce all SKUs.
Our current fixture shipping policy will apply to the PRK product family.
There are no Minimum Order Quantities on the PRK

12. PRK Samples – For Demonstration
PRE-LAUNCH
AGENTS: Universal has recently mailed agent samples (at least one) to each agency based on a vetted list provided by your RSM to Operations. Est Ship Date: Week of December 4th
RSMS: All RSMs will receive one of each of the fixture samples.
Use these samples for field demonstrations / sales tools.
For questions about your fixture sample quantities, please contact your RSM.
POST LAUNCH
To request fixture samples after the official launch (Week of Dec 11th), please start the conversation with your RSM.

13. Marketing Support Email to internal sales: sent November 30th
The formal launch eblast: sent December 12th
