2. What is it?
Environmentally friendly street panel that stores the kinetic energy of pedestrians footsteps

3. How does it Work?
Each time the tile is stepped on the slab depresses up to 5mm.
95% of the energy is stored in the battery while the other 5% powers the light on top.

4. Even the design is environmentally friendly
The green portion of the tile is made of recycled tires.
Light is provided by “Advanced LED’s Ltd.”
LED technology is vibration resistant
Up to 50,000 hrs. (~20 yr life)

5. Application
Busy walkways can generate up to 2.1 watts of electricity per hour
5 tiles placed over a well-worn sidewalk would create enough energy to power a bus stop going all night
