Saint Damien of Molokai Pope Francis on Evangelization
“I dream of a missionary option”, that is, a missionary impulse capable of transforming everything, so that the Church’s customs, ways of doing things, times and schedules, language and structures can be suitably channeled for the evangelization of today’s world, rather than self-preservation. We must admit that the call to review and renew our parishes has not yet sufficed to bring them nearer to people, to make them environments of living communion and participation, and to make them mission orientated. Saint Damien of Molokai How can you support the mission/vision?
What is your role? How can you help? How can you grow your faith in Christ? By your personal actions and touching “one more person” so that others see Christ and your faith in your words and actions At home with your family, at the grocery store, on the phone, driving your vehicle, on the golf course, in the bowling alley, on the slopes, etc. - Everywhere you go and everyone with whom you interact!
