Plan your actions What Strengths do I have to capitalize on What Weaknesses should I address & How What Opportunities currently exist or can I create Who can I have as a mentor What can peers offer Action Plan-Sample Strategies Work Scrimmages with Experienced Umpires, solicit feedback Watch Fall or Spring games with a purpose, what is the strategy in the game from the coaches perspective Record games or obtain video to review and analyze crew management Attend Instructional Camps Self Evaluation Develop better Listening skills Join a Rules Study Group and Practice Rules Articulation

First, let me ask you a question… Are you a consumer? What is your Brand Image? How do you improve your Image?

Does your brand have an Image? What is the Image you would like your brand to have? How will you communicate this image to the consumer of your brand? What can I do to change my brands Image? Is the consumer buying my brand image? Does the Image I have built deliver the results I’m trying to obtain? Takes steps to reinvent your brand?

Is there Science to Rules? Know Them Know the Intent Know when to use them Is there Science to Mechanics? Be able to communicate them Is there Art to-Rules? Know what to Articulate about a rule Knowing how to Say It Is there an Art to Mechanics? Knowing when to use them Knowing where to be on How much to use Know how to anticipate the play (not the call) is a thing of beauty
