Genre: Interview An interview is a conversation conducted by a reporter to gather facts from someone. When you conduct an interview, you should follow these guidelines. Before the interview, write a list of questions that will get the information you want. Put the questions in a logical order, and begin each one with who, what, when, where, or why. During the interview, listen carefully. Jot down the answers to your questions or use a tape recorder. Use phrases instead of whole sentences, and ask for the spellings of proper names. If you think you will use a quotation from this person, red back what he or she said, and let him or her make corrections, if desired. Thank the person for the interview, and follow it with a thank-you note. Review your notes right away, and add words or details to help you remember what was said.

Capitalize the first word, and use a comma at the end of the closing. Signature –This is where you type your name. message are instantaneous. Using the Card or Computer Catalog A computer catalog lists every book in a library and its location. In some libraries, the catalog consists of cabinets of index cards, although many libraries now use computers to catalog their books. Books can be referenced by Author Title Subject Go to the school library and find at least three sources for your inquiry investigation.
