Patterns are used in many types of product designs and forms of manufacturing. The packaging industry makes extensive use of patterns.

What is a development? A pattern of a shape that is laid out in a single flat plane in preparation for bending to a required shape,

Parallel Line Development
All lines are parallel and perpendicular

Truncated Prism Create an auxiliary view to get the true size and shape of the inclined plane.

Oblique Surface Use Triangulation to get the true size and shape of the inclined surface.

Divide the circle and project to the incline Then project to the right side view
