No Role in context of Future Leaders Program This role is part of the Future Leaders Program, which aims to attract and develop individuals external to BP with diverse experiences and leadership capability to bolster the Downstream distinctive capability leadership pipelines. The program consists of 2x24 months rotations within a distinctive capability area, and will include targeted leadership development and capability building. This role is the first of two rotations in the Commercial distinctive capability. Role Purpose The Supply Coordinator is responsible to manage BP’s refinery production for Ground Fuels (Gasoline, Diesel, heating oil and Jet Fuels) and Petrochemical products within Northwest Europe and optimize the supply chain commercially from the refinery fence up until BP’s marking units. In addition it is a key responsibility to deliver own decision making into BP’s matrix organization. The role is internationally connected to interfering countries and will have direct influence of >30m$ gross margin of yearly performance, marketing volumes of >1mio tonnes / annum and having an accountability of product movement worth > 1bn$ policies. Team membership The Supply Coordinator is a member of the Supply Coordination Team.The team has accountability for all commercial decision making around purchase, sales, swaps, terminal supply and throughput contracts for the NWE geography, on a spot basis as well as for yearly term contracts. Specific Role Description Insert the key responsibilities and activities to be undertaken by this incumbent: Responsible to manage BP’s refinery production for Ground Fuels and Petrochemical products, have a direct customer relationship to oil majors and national oil companies on an international level and taking commercial decisions for execution by the operations team. The role develops and optimize commercial cases to supply managed products from the refinery fence into its most valuable home. This includes being fully responsible for all safety-, quality- and compliance policies and working on the business development strategy for the responsible products The incumbent negotiates contracts for the term / spot sales or purchases and concludes bargaining agreements. Delivering own decision making into BP’s matrix organization is a key contribution to ensure a fully integrated optimization by acting as SPA for decision makers.
