What is Summer Advantage?
A unique opportunity, exclusively, for graduating high school seniors from the surrounding area (including private, charter, and home schools) who plan to attend Norco College starting Summer or Fall 2018. Students who complete Summer Advantage will receive EARLY REGISTRATION and guaranteed opportunity to enroll in English and math courses for Fall 2018 and Spring academic terms.

Benefits of Participating
EARLY Registration during the first year at Norco College. Guaranteed English and math classes during the first year at Norco College. Opportunity to refresh English and math skills during NOW; learn valuable study skills; and find out about college resources.

English, Math & Science Workshops
Academic workshops will help prepare your student for English, Math, and Science. Workshops in Health & Wellness, Library Resources, Student Life, Admissions & Records, and special programs available at Norco College will provide an overview of helpful services. Your student will plan their Academic Pathway towards a career and develop academic goals leading to their success at Norco College. Summer Advantage Time Commitments June 11-14, 2018 (7:30-1 pm daily)

(Eng. 70 & 50 Combined) English 80 1A is the minimum requirement for an Associates Degree AND to Transfer.

Norco Orientation Week (NOW)
Students are required to attend all sessions during Norco Orientation Week! Students will learn about career options, college resources, how to register for classes and will work with a Counselor to develop a customized educational plan! Norco Orientation Week is June 11-14, 2018 Between 7:30-1 pm daily!

Steps to Participate Go to: Complete the Summer Advantage/Norco College application from the Summer Advantage website above (Select the Summer 2018 Term) Log into Web Advisor/My Portal and set up account Complete the Mandatory Online Orientation through your Web Advisor Account. Schedule and complete your Norco College Assessment test by April 30th: Create your first semester education plan in Web Advisor /My Portal Confirm your participation through the Summer Advantage Invitation link you will receive at your Norco College student by May 1, 2018 to guarantee your spot in the program.

Complete your FAFSA application! Activate and check your student account regularly Complete the online 90 minute orientation before the assessment test. Review assessment practice questions online

Complete all enrollment steps early to secure your spot.
