Volume= liters (L)
Distance= meters (m)
Time= seconds (s)
Temperature= Celsius (C)
Kelvin (K)
conversion: 1 C + 273= 274 K

6. Making Conversions Ex. 1 m = 100 cm 1m = 1000 mm
Conversion Factors are set up as fractions
If the unit to be eliminated is in the numerator (top), then the unit must be placed in the denominator (bottom) of the conversion factor and vise versa
