The document and service sharing system at WHUT consists of 4 comprehensive branch libraries, and 24 school libraries. The library system holds more than 3.9 million volumes collection. Most of the branch libraries’ collection can be retrieved through OPAC.

- Borrowing & Renewing Regulation
The max borrowing volumes for 1 card is up to 18.
Books circulate for 30 or 60 days according to each category of borrower, with 1 renewal. During summer and winter holidays the loan period will extend.
Overdue fines will accrue at a rate of ￥0.1 per day per book.

West Library: 4th floor in North Wing
East Library: 4th in South Wing
Yujiatou Library: 6th floor

Search，Borrow，Renew & Return
Search in the OPEC on the library website → get call number and location of the book you want → In order to find the book precisely and quickly on which shelf ，you need to know some basic knowledge of Chinese Library Classification and book arrangement in our library.
Borrow books with Student Card on Self-service machine or ask staff at counter for help.
Renew the books in the OPEC or ask staff for help.
Return is the same way as borrow even without Student Card.
