-the factor that you are changing. What is the dependent variable? - the factor that changes because of the indep. variable. What are the constants? - factors that do not change in the experiment.

5. Procedure Step by step instructions. Read them carefully.

IV on the X axis DV on the Y axis Answer any analysis questions, using complete sentences.

7. Conclusion Summarize the experiment: B. arguments based on data
A. must be informative & convincing B. arguments based on data C. distinguish between observations and interpretations D. accept or reject your hypothesis with explanation. E. if experiment failed, explain. Do not use “made a mistake”
