14 Going on in the Fear of the Lord
Psalm 25:14 14 The friendship of the Lord is for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant. Psalm 33:18 18 Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love, Psalm 34:7 7 The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.

Psalm 103:17 17 But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him, and his righteousness to children’s children, Psalm 111:10 10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom; all those who practice it have a good understanding. His praise endures forever!

16 Psalm 115:11 11 You who fear the Lord, trust in the Lord! He is their help and their shield. Psalm 115:13 13 he will bless those who fear the Lord, both the small and the great. Psalm 147:11 11 but the Lord takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his steadfast love.

Proverbs 16:6 6 By steadfast love and faithfulness iniquity is atoned for, and by the fear of the Lord one turns away from evil. Proverbs 19:23 23 The fear of the Lord leads to life, and whoever has it rests satisfied; he will not be visited by harm.

God will take away sin God will bring Joy and Gladness God will gain a victory on the peoples’ behalf. When we come to the N.T. we have these three things involved in God's comfort. Forgiveness of sins (Conviction of Sin) New level of daily experience (Conviction of Righteousness Entering into the victory of the Lord. (Conviction of Satan’s Judgment)

22 Luke 2:25–32 25 Now there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon, and this man was righteous and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. 26 And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ. 27 And he came in the Spirit into the temple, and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him according to the custom of the Law, 28 he took him up in his arms and blessed God and said, 29 “Lord, now you are letting your servant depart in peace, according to your word; 30 for my eyes have seen your salvation 31 that you have prepared in the presence of all peoples, 32 a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and for glory to your people Israel.”
