WHY CREATE A SCORECARD To focus the organization on the 20% of actions that will yield 80% of the results – the highest leverage strategies for success To identify desired annual results, progress monitoring measures, and action steps that will focus leaders on key priorities and promote continuous organizational improvement To align the actions taken at the district, department, and school levels to the strategic plan through the cascading of the district scorecard To communicate goals and progress to key stakeholders
