(shoes) Gas prices continue to rise over the next four years. (cars) A new pesticide is released which should help to kill of a type of insect that attacks orange groves. (oranges) Coke cuts prices 20%. (Pepsi) New study shows that pizza helps you lose weight. (pizza) The USDA now requires that all beef bound for stores be checked for disease using three different methods. (beef) 11. The costs to park downtown rise and more people begin looking for alternative transportation. (bus) 12. Because of new technology a firm can now produce more products at a lower cost. (wigets) The state of North Carolina decides to give a 5% tax break to all citizens of the state. (meals at local restaurants) 14. The US government announces that due to current economic hardships, they will be decreasing farm subsidies. (Corn) Kent building supplies announce that effective June 1st prices will increase 10%. What happens from the present to June 1? (building supplies until June 1)
