2 What is “Street Art?” Street art is any art developed in public spaces — that is, "in the streets" — though the term usually refers to unsanctioned art…. Art for the public. It is created in public spaces with the aim of getting attention. The purpose is to convey information. ... Art created specifically for a public space. Forms of Street Art include graffiti, tagging, wheat pasting, installations, stenciling and stickers.
