The Calvary Nexus Vision / Mission Salt & Light Citizenship Ministry
We live in a political world and are perpetually immersed in political activities that transcend periodic election events. Politics affects our government, shapes our society, influences our culture and significantly impacts our mission field – every day! We participate in the political process, either through action or inaction. Our Lord has personally called us to be active, to be salt and light, to be agents of Biblical morality and salvation in His creation. Many want to be more active, but need better access to the right resources. Therefore, and beyond the upcoming election itself, there are a wide variety of Salt & Light Citizenship Ministry activities and resources that will be offered throughout the year at Calvary Nexus. All are intended to help Christians better engage our culture and to further advance our Lord’s work in both the public and private sectors. All of the Salt & Light resources are vetted from a Christian, Biblical worldview perspective with special focus upon the sanctity of life, traditional marriage, family, constitutional and religious liberty and the importance of Israel in God’s eternal plans. The Calvary Nexus Salt & Light Citizenship Ministry relies upon people taking action through prayer, education, elections, Christian evangelism and revival to accomplish its Calvary Nexus mission.
