Impact Report (FY09 – FY14) From 2010 to present, the Trust Fund has contributed $1.4M towards the implementation of Natural Filters on Public Lands 860 acres planted, 10,744 lbs TN, 759 lbs TP, 1,506 TSS An additional 3,500 acres and 50,000 lbs of TN reduction is planned for the Milestone 10

11 Structure & Oversight Funds generated through motor fuel tax and rental car tax in Maryland Allocation, targeting, and implementation is a collaborative effort between three partners: BayStat Agencies (DNR, MDA, MDE, MDP, UMD) Scientific Advisory Panel (3rd party scientists) The Legislature Local Projects include MDE and Local Implementation Grant Estimated Reductions: 114,921 Lbs of N ($108/lb) 6,119 Lbs of P ($2,033/lb) 1,792 Tons of TSS ($6,308/lb) 52% of projects are complete 11
