1 MESA UTAH CLEAN AIR SOLUTIONS COMPETION 2017-2018
Poster Template MESA UTAH CLEAN AIR SOLUTIONS COMPETION

2 Poster Tips For Local Competitions
This template is designed to help you ensure that you have all of the required components for your poster. You could print these slides and then cut them out to create your poster. Refer to the scoring rubric in the competition rules. The maximum size of the poster is 36” by 48”. Make sure you use fonts and color schemes that are very easy to read. You may add more slides as needed.

3 Upgrades for State & National Competitions
Make your poster by downloading a PowerPoint template that is exactly 36” by 48”. You can find large templates by doing a google search. Be careful to use high quality images and diagrams (with large file sizes) so that they will print well. Print your poster at a local print shop. If you are going to nationals, you will need to print it on something sturdy that can be rolled up neatly.

5 Objective Define the requirements of your design including:
Project goals. Desired attributes. User specific requirements including constraints. Design choices made specifically to fulfill client’s needs. Scope of the project.

6 Engineering Design Process
Engineering design is a process for generating the team prototype that meets the specified objective while adhering to specified constraints. Specification of team methodology and process. An analysis of challenges and correlating solutions. An evaluation of competing design solutions. Any relevant research or discovery which led to chosen design solution. Specification of team methodology and process.

7 Data Any visual representation of research, analysis, inspection, and/or testing which led to the prototype design. Charts and/or graphs.

8 Diagrams Any visual representation of research, analysis, inspection, and/or testing which led to the prototype design. Arduino Diagram(s) such as schematics, block-logic diagram, function block diagram.

9 Photograph This is optional.
Include a photo of the completed prototype.

10 Code Commented Arduino Code or Logic Diagram

11 Conclusions and Recommendations
Identification of the chosen solution and any recommendations for further progress. Justification for design choice Design Flaw Analysis Plans for next steps
