Offer Process in PageUp
In this section, we will review the Offer Process in PageUp once you have selected your final candidate.

Offer process Place the final candidate into “Request to Make an Offer” status. Select “Move Now.” Do not send an communication to the candidate ( communication on this status should default to “no”).

Offer process Offer Details card will open. The approved “Salary/Hourly Rate Range” will appear. Review approved amount and indicate the dollar amount that is to be offered to the candidate in the “Offered Salary/Hourly Pay Rate” box that is located under the “SALARY” section of the Offer Details. The Offer Details card will open. The approved “Salary/Hourly Range” will feed over from the job requisition. Be sure your offered salary is within this range, and that you leave some room for salary negotiation.

Offer process Add approvers. Save and Close. *You MUST enter an Approval Process to continue the Offer Process. Add approvers at the bottom of the page. Save and close. You must enter an Approval Process to continue the Offer Process.

Offer process When the Salary has been approved by Human Resources, the Hiring Supervisor will receive an notification and the status will be updated to Offer Approved. The Hiring Supervisor verbally offers the position to the candidate and returns to PageUp to complete the Offer Process after the verbal communication. The Hiring Supervisor can then extend a verbal offer to the candidate and return to PageUp to complete the Offer Process after the verbal communication.

Select the candidate’s name then “Offer Incomplete” to open the Offer Details
Offer process To indicate whether the offer has been verbally accepted or declined, select your candidate’s name to open the Candidate’s Profile. Select “Offer Incomplete” which opens the Offer Details

Offer process Complete required fields including: Start Date End Date (If applicable) Office Address/Room Number Office Phone Number Hiring Supervisor Save and Close Remember that you already entered the salary in a prior step. If the offer has been declined, you need only to complete the Offer Progress section at the bottom of the page and indicate the offer has been declined and the date. Be sure to Save and Close to save your changes.

Offer process Update candidate’s status to “HR to Prepare Contract/Letter.” This is the last step of the offer process. The remaining steps will be completed by Human Resources. *Contracts/Letters will be sent to candidate within 24 business hours if all information is submitted accurately.

Offer process – candidate response
When the electronic offer has been extended to candidate, the status will update to “Online Offer Made.” Candidates will receive an to the address listed on their application that an offer letter is waiting for their review and acceptance.

When candidate Accepts/Declines, their status will update automatically, and the Hiring Supervisor will be notified via . Susan accepted our offer!

Finishing offer process/closing requisition
Once a candidate has accepted the offer, the remaining candidates need to be placed in terminal statuses. Select “View applications” from the requisition page. Select the status next to each candidate’s name and indicate the correct reason for not moving them forward in the application process.

Each terminal status will the candidate, indicating they are not moving forward in the application process. Each candidate must be contacted. Departments may contact candidates through phone calls or personalized s, and therefore may select “No” on “ Applicant.” Indicate the reason the candidate is not moving forward in the process, located at the bottom of the page. Select “Move Now.”

This completes the Offer process.
