Welcoming Remarks by Mayor Tomas Regalado – City of Miami
A Marlins Park representative will discuss the efforts in achieving LEED Gold for the construction of Marlins Park as well as details of their current recycling efforts from opening through this season. 
Construction in Florida is booming and so is the recycling of construction & demolition debris.   
o   Patti Hamilton, SWS will explain how and why these materials are recycled
Business Recycling – Miami-Dade has a mandatory recycling program for businesses.  Our panel will give you tips on how to start a recycling program or improve an existing one at your company and how to be in compliance with local ordinances

o   Kim Brunson, Recycle and Solid Waste Manager – Publix
o   Pat Johnson- Waste Managements’ Total Recycling Program Manager
Tour of Marlins Park – Specialized guided tour showing sustainability effort as well as a glance into the Marlins Baseball Team facilities
