Profit maximization for dairy farms and for feeding companies
Benjamin Domjan Profit maximization for dairy farms and for feeding companies cost minimization profit maximization One solution does not result solution for other targets Israeli innovation („Rubik's Cube” for dairy farms and feeding companies)
2
How could you increase your market share significantly?
3
Israeli dairy scientific conference 11/2017:
Some dairy farm related software companies have already started to develop programs to evaluate feeding data on farms
4
Evaluation by software independently
Company1: “Our feed additive is the best” Company2: “We are the best” Company3: “Our product is unrivalled” Company4: “We make profit for dairy farm” Evaluation by software independently 2 1 8 …. Product of company1 is inactive Product of company2 is positive Product of company3 is negative Product of company4 is sometimes negative
5
Problem of expected results of the evaluation is bigger than experts have thought. Next slides provide the prove
6
What do dairy farmers expect?
All of them want to increase the production efficiency (to produce more with less) None of them want to decrease the production efficiency
7
The Reality 1 2 3 2013-as év valósága
8
Realization of plans happened randomly
The Reality of 1023 dairy farms in a developed European country Realization of plans happened randomly
9
There is no any significant difference between companies*
The Conclusion There is no any significant difference between companies* For example, dairy farms of Company X are not better than farms of Company Y from aspect of production efficiency *: in a developed European country

Our SiMUUlation product provides the Problem Solving
Our results in Israel Mi okozhatja a hasonló véletlenszerűséget eltérő országok ellenére?
12
Our ROI
13
How could we achieve these results?
We used the same feeds the same limits (min., max.) regarding feeds and nutrient contents but between the same constraints we were able find better solution (=better composition) The same can be true about basic integrations of premix to design the best final product for a feeding company
14
How to understand our product?
It is similar to evolution of genetic research In the past only during lactation period specialists were able to evaluate the genetic potential of milk production each cow. From now, at stage of embryo experts are able predict the genetic potential in order to choose the best ones and discard the less good embryos. We provide the future in advance about feed evaluation

Further similarity between genetic research and our innovation
Bull catalogues compare average of a certain bull’s daughters to the whole average to rank bulls. For example, ZAKA ET provides 1142 more milk kg than the average Our product compares average of a certain feed additive to the whole average to rank products. This product provides 0.83% more protein kg than average of all products.
