2 Social Pharaohs Known as the main ruler of Egypt
During the New Kingdom, an Egyptian queen even became pharaoh in her own right. Hatshepsut, who at first was regent for her stepson Thutmose III but later assumed the throne herself. Gender Roles In theory the roles of men and women were different but largely equal. The reality was somewhat different. Women bore and raised children, and were responsible for the family, domestic relationships, while men taught their growing up boys their own trade and related to society at large.

3 Political The government of Ancient Egypt depended on two important factors the pharaoh and agriculture. The Pharaoh was a vital part of the the Egyptian government and he appointed the other officials during most periods. The highest officials took their orders directly from the king. Agriculture was the foundation of Egypt's economy and government.

4 Interactions between humans and the environment
Technology The Egyptians invented and used many simple machines.They used rope trusses to stiffen the beam of ships. Egyptians created a paper called papyrus, which is made out of a certain reed. Nile River The Nile was a big part of the migration that had caused a lot of people to move in the area, because of its benefits Great supply of food, such as fish Creates fertile land

5 Cultural Gods and Goddesses
Some took part in creation, brought the flood every year, offered protection, and some took care of people after they died. “Atum” was believed as the first God Pyramids They were built over a period of 2,700 years, ranging from the beginning of the Old Kingdom to the ending of the Ptolemaic period.

6 Economic Economy is based on agriculture and trade Natural Resources
Greatest resource was the Nile River It provided Fish, transportation and the floods provided fertilized land Bronze was used for making farming tools and their weapons. The use of horse-drawn war chariots help them master in their military skills
