Some don’t eat onions, alcohol, mushrooms garlic and caffeine
They may fast on festival/religious days. Some may obstain completely from food or water yet some are more relaxed and only abstain from milk, flour, etc.

Holi is the spring festival of colours in febuary/march on the full moon, celebrates the beginning of the new season celebrates new havest and the new land. To enjoy springs ubundent colours and appreciation of its beauty. The main day of the festival is holi and people throw scented paint powder and perfumne at each other- bonfires are also lit. Breaks down barriers of age, gender etc. and everyone enjoys each others presense on the day.
