Figure S3. MCF7 cells were stably transfected with short hairpin expressing plasmids directed either against LCoR (ShLCoR) or a control sequence (ShCtl). A. mRNA extracts were subjected to real time PCR with primers specific to LCoR (left panel). Cells were analyzed by immunofluorescence using anti-LCoR antibody (ab107206, Abcam) and Hoechst labeling (right panel). B. Cell proliferation was measured over nine days. Absorbance of Formazan crystals was read on a spectrophotometer and results were normalized to the cell density at day 1.
