Teaching our children to “press on,” too
Teaching our children to “press on,” too? That’s something else entirely!

In ancient Athens, runners stretched themselves out, straining toward the finish line. They “pressed on.”

Jesus’ victory is ours already! We died and rose with him.

Now we “press on” to know Jesus more and more, love Jesus more and more, be like Jesus more and more share Jesus more and more.

Paul witnessed continually: in prison, aboard a ship in stormy seas, in the marketplace, in the synagogues. He shared the story of sin & salvation everywhere he went!

Strengthened by Christ, Paul pressed on in his God-given mission.

Jesus preserved Paul, faithful until death
Jesus preserved Paul, faithful until death. And Jesus gave Paul the crown of righteousness.

That same crown awaits all who trust in Jesus as Savior!

Pardoned like Paul, we press on to know Jesus and to share Jesus’ deep love.

Jesus’ love cheers us on. Jesus’ presence gives us strength.

Thank you to all dads, grandpas, brothers, sons, uncles, coaches, mentors— role models all!
