Free and Open International Technical Committees Member Section Free – no charge to copy or use the standards Open – process allows for anyone any where in the world to comment on our work, committees are required by the process to respond opening to all comments and their disposition/resolution, all proceedings of the committees and subcommittees are available for review by anyone

4 Emergency Management Technical Committee (EM-TC)
Charter: The purpose of this Technical Committee is to design, develop, and release XML-based standards that provide a framework for interoperability among diverse emergency information systems. Subcommittees: Message and Notification Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) Infrastructure Framework CAP Profile Reference Information Model (RIM)

5 Emergency Management Adoption Committee (EMA-TC)
Charter: The OASIS Emergency Management Adoption Committee works to raise awareness and provide education on the best ways to implement CAP and the family of EDXL standards Subcommittees Events and Demonstrations Collateral and Documentation Outreach and Education
