Does 23 have an accent? SI! Veintitrés (23), veintiséis (26), dieciséis (16) have accent marks

Difference between “a las” & “son las”
“a las” means at… as in class is at 8 a.m. (la clase es a las 8 a.m.) “Son las” means it is… as in it is 7:30 p.m. (son las 7:30 p.m.)

“a las” or “a la” when 12:00 If you are going to say 12 o’clock, use a las doce (en punto is not necessary). If you want to say at midnight – a la medianoche; if you want to say at noon – al (a+el) mediodÍa

“una” or “uno” for 1 in time
When telling time, always, always use Una!

“Es a las 3:30” or “a las 3:30” Either one! If the question asks at what time something occurs, you can say: “A las…” (at) or “Es a las…” (It is at)

There is no one specific rule. You must memorize nouns and use the correct article. Practice, practice, practice. Every time you learn a new noun, find out the article that goes with it!

“menos” in telling time
If you want to express the time after half past the hour, use menos (less) + the number of the following hour. 5:45 – Son las seis menos quince (it is fifteen minutes to 6)

“b” versus “v” It is just a matter of pronunciation. In Spanish, V is called “uv”. Other countries may say “B as in Barcelona” or “V as in Venezuela”
