Product: Collaboration Platform Pain Relievers: FAQ Terms and Conditions Insurance Policy Verified Users Chat Function We created a Value Proposition Canvas for our top 3 Target Audience Segments, Collaborators, Entrepreneurs, and Personal Projects. All of these segments had many things in common that would affect them negatively and positively. Gain Creators: Social Events Can have LinkedIn hyperlink Portfolio Image Gallery Job Opportunities These Value Proposition Canvases were based on our assumptions, and then validated with quotes we found through our interviews. We then came up with possible Gain Creators and Pain Relievers, in response to the student feedback.

12 Scamp: Login Simple login page Personal email or university email
In order to contact you, people will need to go through the chat on the app, and will not have your contact details.

13 Scamp: Homepage/Explore
The initial homepage once you login will be an explore page. The page will suggest projects/profiles you may be interested in Algorithm

14 Scamp: Profile Personal
Profile Picture Settings/Edit button Name Skills/Major Optional portfolio Contacts Book Description Option hyperlink to LinkedIn profile

15 Scamp: Profile Public Profile Picture Save button Name Skills/Major
Optional Portfolio Gallery Number of Contacts Contact Button Description Option hyperlink to LinkedIn profile

16 Scamp: Search The search button on the top right hand corner will direct you to a search page. There will be a filter option to narrow search. Before you type in your search, suggested profiles and projects will be shown.

17 Scamp: Add Job On the top left corner will be a + button.
This will allow you to add a project. It will give a guide of the details which will need to be included.

18 Scamp: Notification There will be two types of notifications:
Current Projects & Alerts. The alerts will be contact requests from people you are not already working with. These notifications will be broken down into the projects you are currently working on.

19 Further Ideas…. Once you have contacted someone there will be a chat function. A group chat will also be available for projects. If a job goes wrong you can ‘file a dispute’. This will allow the app to have the chat history, and the dispute to be settled. General FAQ rather than live chat for help/problems with the app. We will design symbols that could represent whether it is a brief, small project, favour, or question.

20 Payment Method What keeps users engaged? Contacts: Money:
Once you have worked with someone, you can keep them as a contact. It would be used as a way of networking and you would build up your contact list. These contacts would be stored in the app, keeping people engaged as they would not have their contact details otherwise. Money: Various different in app payment methods such as paypal, google wallet, and venmo. An amount and budget would have to be set in advance. Money would only be used for projects that need to be boosted and done quickly.

21 How to Legalize Terms and Conditions:
Would bind the users to the contract. Can get free templates online. Would create rules within the app. Creative Commons: Provides free and simple copyright licenses. There are four types of licence; Attribution, ShareAlike, Non-Commercial, No Derivatives. Non-Disclosure Agreement: A legal agreement that binds two parties to share confidential/sensitive information. Can be one way or mutual. Creative Commons: Provides free and simple copyright licenses. There are four types of licence; Attribution, ShareAlike, Non-Commercial, No Derivatives. Allows creatives to share and use work, and also receive input, while still being protected. Licence cannot be revoked. You can cancel the licence, but work previously used cannot be retrieved. Others may profit from your work. Non-Disclosure Agreement: A legal agreement that binds two parties to share confidential/sensitive information. Can be one way or mutual. Can stop people from stealing business ideas Can have a time limit on it if not enforced properly

22 Business Model Canvas Key Partners: Tech team Student Union KU
Local businesses Sponsors Key Activities: Marketing Sales Trial Period Promotion Reps Design Value Proposition: Projects Collabs Streamlined Student & Alumni use Customer Relationship: Live Chat Frequently Asked Questions s Customer Segments: Personal Projects Uni Projects Entrepreneurs Alumni Freelancers Key Resources: Budget Digital Resource Channels: Social Media Networking Events Blasts Posters Advertising Cost Structure: Developments Revenue Streams: Course Budget Advertising Sponsors Upgrades/Subscriptions Donations

23 Phases/Goals 1. University boosts/integrates it. There will be a representative in each class, for example the course rep. 3. Lean Approach will be used. Phase 1 will be removed once testing is over. 2. University upgrades the app. This will be paid. A one month free trial will be available for non-students.

24 Conclusion The conclusion, with the help of the value proposition canvases we were able to deduce the problem, and how to proceed. These are initial ideas and need to be further developed through the lean approach.
