2 What are synonyms? Synonyms are words that have similar meanings.
You can use a synonym to replace a word in a sentence, and the sentence will still have the same meaning. Think fast! Synonyms have similar meanings.

4 What are antonyms? Antonyms are words that have opposite meanings.
If you change a word in a sentence to its antonym, the sentence changes to mean the opposite. For example, “my hair is wet” means the opposite of “my hair is dry.”
