7 President’s Report Scofield ROA Board of Director’s Mission:
To protect and enhance the quality of life for our residents by focusing our efforts on the following areas: Equitable enforcement of covenants Fiscally responsible management of ROA assets Proactive advocacy for our neighborhood Fostering a sense of community between our residents We will act of these tasks with an eye toward balancing the rights of the individual with the rights of the community.

15 Pool committee Pool Water Maintenance:
The SF Pools are maintained by Tropical Pools Chemical inspections & pH balancing daily during summer months 3x per week during non-summer months Pool shock occurs every Monday after 8 AM - higher concentration of chlorine involved and it takes several hours to dissolve (therefore the pool is closed every Monday until 5 PM)

16 Pool committee Summer 2018 Lifeguards:
Lifeguard Service provided by Lifeguard4Hire 2018 Lifeguard hours: Fridays,  4 PM to 10 PM Saturdays & Sundays: 5 PM to 10 PM Lifeguards on duty from Memorial Day to Labor Day

17 Pool committee Pool Gate Key Cards:
Each SF household is allotted one pool gate key card as long as they are in good standing with all ROA fees and restrictions.  A signed pool waiver agreement must be on record with CMA prior to receiving the card(s). Extra pool key cards are available for a cost of $25 each Lost pool key cards can be replaced for the same cost of $25 each Broken or demagnetized cards can be replaced free of charge

18 Pool committee Pool Parties:
All parties must be registered with CMA, nominal fee Party must cover lifeguard costs (which vary depending on party size). Pool parties will be scheduled during non-peak hours (afternoons) or weekend mornings and afternoons Lifeguards are required for parties with children present Make sure to use the most update to date forms (from summer 2017) To get pool party documents:

19 Pool committee Pool Safety:
The pool rules are posted at the display case in the pool entryway Also available on the Scofield Farms website The pool area is subject to City inspection for safety and compliance There is first aid kit hanging by the pool office if you are in need of a bandage There is also a fire extinguisher hanging by the pool office There is a working emergency phone by the main pool entry gate There is a life preserver in case of an emergency The lap lane rope is not a toy so please manage it when you see kids playing on it Climbing and jumping off the lifeguard stands is not permitted Smoking and drinking alcohol is not permitted Eating in the pool is not allowed
