2. Overall Instructions Options: Timeline Project or Map Project
You can do both projects or pick just one, but you will receive the same credit either way
I recommend that you do both as they both will greatly enrich your Bible knowledge

3. Timeline Instructions
Use the excel spreadsheet that I provided or work by hand to fill out the dates
There are 2 tabs on the spreadsheet with the timelines
2 Timelines “Adam to the Patriarchs” and “Moses to Nehemiah”
The first timeline will use Anno Mundi dates
The second timeline will use B.C. dates
Anno Mundi begins at the creation of Adam, so his first year is also 1 A.M. (Anno Mundi)
Your numbers can be within 10 years of what I have (they will likely be within 1 year or the same)

4. Adam to the Patriarchs
I have provided you with all the Bible references to make it easier
I have provided you with the first 3 generations so you can see how it is done
There is also a KEY to help you understand how to do this exercise
Fill in all of the dates using the NASB numbers, do not use the LXX as it has different numbers
We will use Anno Mundo since the LXX and the Hebrew (NASB) numbers do not agree
The LXX has an additional years in the genealogies

5. Moses to Nehemiah
I have provided you with all of the Bible references and other materials
I am providing you with 2 key dates that most scholars agree on
I Kings 6:1 is the key to the Exodus date
Fill out the B.C. year for each event
Many of these numbers will be easy to figure out if you have any aptitude for math

6. Map Project Instructions
Use the blank maps to label the specified locations (nations, rivers, & seas)
2 Maps are provided with 2 different lists
The first map is from the Mediterranean to modern day Iran
The second map is for Israel and the surrounding area
For the 2nd map: Please write their familial relationship with Israel if they have one (Cousins or Brothers)
You can print them out and draw on them or use “Paint” or some other computer program
Use Bible maps to find the places, but please label them on the map provided to maximize your retention
