Deuteronomy 32:1-7 "Give ear, O heavens, and I will speak; And hear, O earth, the words of my mouth. 2 Let my teaching drop as the rain, My speech distill as the dew, As raindrops on the tender herb, And as showers on the grass. 3 For I proclaim the name of the LORD: Ascribe greatness to our God. 4 He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice, A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He. 5 "They have corrupted themselves; They are not His children, Because of their blemish: A perverse and crooked generation. 6 Do you thus deal with the LORD, O foolish and unwise people? Is He not your Father, who bought you? Has He not made you and established you? 7 "Remember the days of old, Consider the years of many generations. Ask your father, and he will show you; Your elders, and they will tell you:

MEMORIES - 2

MEMORIES MEMORIES by Larry Pasley Memory can be a wonderful thing,
Pleasant happenings from our past they bring. Memory can also bring us much pain, And make us feel that we have lived in vain. Whether our memories are bad or good, They can help us live our lives as we should. Our memories can teach us many things, Even though they may carry hurtful stings. Through remembering we can changes make, And help prevent any furthering ache.
5
MEMORIES If we just remember the pain of sin, It will help us over Satan to win. If we remember hurt in ones we love, And try to live more like the One above; Mem’ries can prevent a life of regret, And keep other’s lives from being upset. What our memories produce, good or ill, Is controlled by what we do with free will. It’s up to us what our past produces, We can accept fault or make excuses. Each one of us will choose what we will do, So, what will your memories do for you?

MEMORIES As we think back on our lives there is always some good and some bad. Memories can help us change - Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it. George Santayana ( ) Throughout our lives, we learn from our past memories that we must avoiding repeating mistakes for our sake because no one wants to feel the same disappointment or pain we have once had to experience. Memories are reminders. Memories are there to ascertain that we are walking down the right path, making the right decisions that are the best for each and every one of us.

9. REMEMBER THE WORDS OF THE APOSTLES
Jude 1:16-19 These are grumblers, complainers, walking according to their own lusts; and they mouth great swelling words, flattering people to gain advantage. 17 But you, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: 18 how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. 19 These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit.

10. REMEMBER THE BIBLICAL TRADITIONS
1 Corinthians 11:1-2 Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ. 2 Now I praise you, brethren, that you remember me in all things and keep the traditions just as I delivered them to you.
9
11. REMEMBER JESUS’ MIRACLES
Matthew 16:8-10 But Jesus, being aware of it, said to them, "O you of little faith, why do you reason among yourselves because you have brought no bread? 9 Do you not yet understand, or remember the five loaves of the five thousand and how many baskets you took up? 10 Nor the seven loaves of the four thousand and how many large baskets you took up?

12. REMEMBER WHAT JESUS DID FOR YOU
2 Timothy 2:8-9 Remember that Jesus Christ, of the seed of David, was raised from the dead according to my gospel, 9 for which I suffer trouble as an evildoer, even to the point of chains; but the word of God is not chained. 1 Corinthians 11:23-25 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; 24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, "Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me." 25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me."

13. REMEMBER IF YOUR BROTHER HAS SOMETHING AGAINST YOU
Matthew 5:23-26 Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24 leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. 25 Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver you to the judge, the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be thrown into prison. 26 Assuredly, I say to you, you will by no means get out of there till you have paid the last penny.

14. REMEMBER, IF YOU FOLLOW JESUS YOU WILL BE TREATED AS HE WAS
John 15:20 Remember the word that I said to you, 'A servant is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also.
13
15. REMEMBER, IF WE SUFFER FOR JESUS HERE, WE WILL BE COMFORTED IN HEAVEN
Luke 16:22-25 So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham's bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 Then he cried and said, 'Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.' 25 But Abraham said, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented.

YOUR MEMORIES Are you convinced of your home in heaven?
Are you willing to suffer for Him here? 1 Peter 2:21 For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps: 2 Timothy 3:12 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. Is there something you need to change in your life so you can be in heaven one day.
