The new TexasRealEstate.com is designed to connect Texas REALTORS® with more consumers than ever before.

And, it allows members to easily share articles from TexasRealEstate.com through Facebook and Twitter. Share If you’re on Facebook or Twitter, you can easily share content with just a click.

Expandable search box Buyers can use different criteria to search for your residential properties: street, city, ZIP code, MLS number, price, bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage, property type, property style, school district, year built, and virtual tours The new consumer property search will provide one of the most powerful mechanisms to connect Texas REALTORS® with consumers. The tool includes listings from across the state. MLSs representing about 95% of Texas REALTORS® are included in the tool to provide a comprehensive user experience for consumers. Consumers will begin their search using an expandable search box of criteria such as: Address (including city and zip) MLS number Price Bedrooms and bathrooms Year built Whether or not a listing has a virtual tour. Search results will be displayed both in a map view and a list view. Users have the option of viewing either a list view or a list and map view.

On the map and list view option, users will have the opportunity to view the actual location of listings within their searched area. Below the map, the results will be displayed in a list view. Users are able to customize their experience by selecting either the map and list view, or simply a list view.

When users hover over one of the house icons, a pop-up box will appear giving critical details of a particular listing. This provides for a richer user-experience, especially for those consumers who know the precise area in which they would like to search for their next house.

On the list view pages, the map is hidden and users are able to scroll through results in a list format. Each result has a primary photo along with the critical details of the listing, including: Address Price Bedrooms and bathrooms Other details. Consumers are able to click through from this page to receive more detail about the listing. Users may also directly access other listings by this Texas REALTOR® by using the “See more listings by _________” link.

Photo slideshow The photo slideshow will display photos of the property without having to leave the detailed listing page When users select a particular listing for which they would like to view more details, they arrive at this listing detail page. Listing detail pages will provide a photo slideshow populated with pictures input by the listing agent at the local MLS level. The primary photo is the larger picture, with thumbnail views of the remaining photos displayed beneath. Property detail information includes: Year built Tax amount Association fees Garage and parking features And other information

Photo slideshow The photo slideshow will display photos of the property without having to leave the detailed listing page Agent information The listing agent’s information is provided with a link to their profile page and a way to contact them immediately about a property To accomplish the main objective of enhancing connections between Texas REALTORS® and consumers, agent information is provided on the listing-detail page as well. We are able to provide no-cost lead-generation to our members by having consumers who would like more detailed information provide their contact information in this widget. Consumers are able to click through from this page to go directly to the Texas REALTOR®’s member profile page on TexasRealEstate.com to get more information about the member or the member’s other listings.

14 A bird’s-eye view of the property, provided by Bing, is also included on this page so a user can gain an idea of what the area around the property actually looks like. A link to the property's location on a map is provided for consumers who would like that functionality as well. Consumers who find you through the “Find-a-Texas REALTOR® ” search on TexasRealEstate.com will see your listings attached to your profile. And vice versa. Your listings will include a link to your profile.

TexasRealEstate.com Personalize your profile on TexasRealtors.com Select View/edit profile page To update your profile for consumer viewing on TexasRealEstate.com, you’ll need to go into the member Web site, TexasRealtors.com. Once you’re logged in, you’ll be at your personalized home page. From there, click on “View/edit profile page” to the right of “My home page.”

For example, TexasRealEstate.com/MarySmith. Consider it a free Web page, just for you, that’s part of TexasRealEstate.com. But remember: All your profile set-up is done on the member site, TexasRealtors.com.

22 Coming in October Members will get a lot out of the new TexasRealEstate.com: Free leads via the consumer property search. Cross-promotion with your online profile page. And the ability to share quality consumer content from TexasRealEstate.com with prospects and clients via Facebook and Twitter. Surely, something this good is worth waiting for.
