Review Assist.org to see how specific lower-division major courses will transfer to CI.

Getting Ahead in Summer Transfer Requirements What should I take to get ahead over the Summer? American Institutions Language other than English Multicultural Requirement Any remaining lower-division major courses These are not necessarily covered by IGETC! Remember, you can transfer a maximum of 70 units from a community college.

First Semester Courses Transfer Requirements What courses should I take my first semester? Two to three major courses UDGE Any remaining University requirements (Language other than English, American History, etc.)

Courses for Transition Transfer Requirements What resources/help is available for the transition to CI? UNIV 300 (1 unit) – University Life/College Success UNIV 349 (3 units) – Transfer Year Seminar Counts as a UDGE

6 Transfer Requirements
Time to Graduation Transfer Requirements How long will it take me to graduate? Total units needed to graduate: 120 Most transfers enter with 70 units, so you’ll need at least 50 units earned at CI. In most cases your major is NOT 50 units, so you will need electives. So how long? Example: 50 units divided by 4 semesters = 12.5 units per semester
