Summary The traditional business plan is still required by many funders, in particular banks, but increasingly a business model explanation is on occasions replacing the plan. Social enterprises address additional aspects, including the social purpose and use of profits. The business model cube™ is useful and practical for business planning. Business policy are not formally required but practically important to have to show stakeholders that planning and investment was put into addressing important business delivery areas. © Inge Hill Start Up, Palgrave 2015
