Why in an abandoned well a threat to our safety?
The main concern is falling into an open well. There have been many nationally publicized incidents in which someone has fallen into an abandoned well. Most of these incidents have involved children.

The main method would be to remove the abandoned well. Restore the well to working order. Cap the well.

Conclusion Abandoned wells can provide an easy access to our water supply for contaminants. Abandoned wells are an open hole to fall into. Through proper procedures, the threat of personal injury and contamination can be removed.
