2 Water Statistics a minimum of 7.5 liters of water per person per day is required in the home for drinking, preparing food, and personal hygiene. at least 50 liters per person per day is needed to ensure personal hygiene, food hygiene, domestic cleaning, and laundry needs. To cover the demands of agriculture, ecosystems, and consumption; to avoid water stress, experts generally agree that about 1,000 cubic meters of freshwater per capita per year is needed.

He has a goal for the conference to come up with solutions that would improve and develop water supply and sanitation services to the climate change challenges.
