What is Engineering ? Engineering is the application of science to the needs of humanity. This is accomplished through knowledge, mathematics, and practical experience applied to the design of useful objects or processes. Professional practitioners of engineering are called engineers.

Technical Communications Skills (TCS)
Folio and Report Writing Introduces the language and text-organisational skills required to produce typical examples of writing encountered in the technical field. Listening, Reading, Oral Presentation Introduces the cognitive skills of note-taking through listening and note-making through reading. The research skills required for a course of study and how they are applied in the preparation for a formal oral presentation are also covered.

Organisational Communication Skills Prepares students for communication at work through lessons on corporate culture, communication work flows, technical and business correspondence, meeting skills, minutes writing and presentations. Students will learn to communicate effectively and develop their thinking, interpersonal and intercultural communication skills.

Career Communication Skills Technical Communication Skills 3 Prepares students in a variety of communication activities. They will develop their Major Project report, as well as materials to enhance their project presentations. They will also learn interpersonal and public relations skills, and skills needed to do well in a job hunt.
