3. Why would you want to be involved?
West of England Genomics Medicine Centre – our objectives
Complete whole genome sequencing of approx. 4,150 samples from patients & family.
Both cancer and rare disease patients
Access to programme across the region
Actively consenting until Sept 2018
Facilitate integration of whole genome sequencing into standard clinical care pathways.
Why would you want to be involved?
Opportunity to conduct whole genome sequencing on key cohorts of cancer patients with an aim to improve understanding of the genomics of tumours and to support future of targeted therapies (Preparation for mainstreaming of genomic medicine as standard)
