God intends for Christians to be members of a local church
A congregation is to be independent of all other congregations and to be self- governing

The successful accomplishment of a local church’s work and worship depends on the participation of each of its members
The work, worship and organization of the church is set forth in scripture

4. Knowledge vs. Practice
Most churches not as successful as they could be
Most work done by only a few
Many become “spectators”

Realize I am bought with a price & am not my own; we are His!
