4 MSF was founded in response to the humanitarian crisis during the Nigerian Civil War.

7 Today, MSF has 19 national offices and works in 70 nations.

8 MSF treats, prevents, vaccinates against, and educates about: Chagas, Cholera, Ebola, Fistula, HIV/AIDS, Kala Azar, Malaria, Measles, Meningitis, Sleeping Sickness, and Tuberculosis doctorswithoutborders.org

9 In September, WHO announced that MSF was the leading organization responding to the Ebola crisis.

10 They also have programs for access to medicines, malnutrition, mental health, sexual violence, women’s health doctorswithoutborders.org

11 They do humanitarian work dealing with armed conflict, natural disasters, neglected people, refugees and IDPs doctorswithoutborders.org

12 Almost all of their fundings comes from donations and grants
